Harry and Meghan ‘to stop Netflix shows’ as they have ‘nothing left to say’ | Royal | News
Harry and Meghan have “nothing left to say” and will stop doing interviews or creating content that discusses the Royal Family, it is understood. Former BBC presenter Andrew Neil reported on Twitter that sources close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said the pair would no longer broadcast self-referential Spotify podcasts or Netflix documentaries, and would no longer publish memoirs, nor they participate in interviews. Mr Neil described the development as “good news”.

He wrote on Twitter: “Sources close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex say the pair will stop making self-referential podcasts for Spotify, Netflix documentaries – plus no more publishing memoirs and sitting down for interviews discussing the royal family, as they have ‘nothing left to say’.”
It comes just two days after Spotify dropped the Meghan Archetypes podcast following a “mutual” agreement.
The podcast reportedly failed to produce enough content to justify the £15 million payment agreed upon when the couple signed with Spotify in 2020.
A joint statement from Archewell, Meghan and Harry’s media company, and Spotify, announced that they had “mutually agreed to participate and are proud of the series we made together”, reported the New York Post.
Although Meghan and Harry will be stopping self-referential content, their company Archewell is likely to create a range of media.
It is understood that Harry and Meghan will aim to create more “light” fiction content.
They are said to have many fun series running, including “feel good” programs.
Earlier this year, a source told The Telegraph: “There will be more focus on scripted fictional content.”
The pair are also believed to be pursuing other projects and Meghan is said to be close to signing a deal with Dior as she focuses on “rebranding”.
