OnePlus has announced the rolling out of the OxygenOS update for OnePlus 11 5G smartphones in India, bringing users improved security, stability and network improvements. The update is being rolled out gradually, starting with a small percentage of users on June 15, followed by a wider rollout. Availability in the EU/UN region is expected later this month.

Last week, OnePlus made an announcement on its Community page about the release of its latest software update. The OxygenOS update is now gradually rolling out to OnePlus 11 5G smartphone users in India. This update includes the June 2023 Android security patch as well as various improvements.

The security patch improves system security and stability, and the overall update aims to improve the stability of mobile network connections, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. The OnePlus 11 OS update carries the firmware version IN CPH2447_13.1.0.580(EX01).

To manually check for the update, OnePlus 11 users can navigate to the Settings app on their phone and proceed with its installation by selecting Software update and then downloading the available update.

It is important to mention that the OxygenOS 13.1 update for OnePlus 11 is currently rolling out exclusively in India. OnePlus has said that the update will be rolled out gradually, which means that not all users will get it right away.

According to the company, a small percentage of users in India have already received the update on June 15, and a wider rollout will continue. OnePlus also confirmed that the update will be available in the EU/UN region later this month.

At the Cloud 11 launch event earlier this year, OnePlus introduced the OnePlus 11 5G smartphone. The device first launched with OxygenOS 13, which is based on Android 13. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and can be configured with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The OnePlus 11 has a 6.7-inch LTPO 3.0 AMOLED display with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. It is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 100W SuperVOOC fast charging.
