Did Olivia Rodrigo Leave ‘HSMTMTS’ for Good or Could She Appear in Season 4?

Ardscoil Cheoil: The Music: The Series which was a perfect career starter for Olivia Rodrigo, making her one of the only modern Disney stars to rival the likes of Hilary Duff, Selena Gomez, and Raven-Symoné in terms of popularity. In the end, however, she had to choose between her blossoming music career and the show that put her on the map, trying to pursue the former.

Rodrigo Nini’s character received a fitting farewell in season three Ardscoil Cheoil: The Music: The Series, because her character also left East High to move to California and become a singer-songwriter. Her final episode was filled with touching, full-circle moments.

Why did Olivia Rodrigo leave ‘HSMTMTS?’

Rodrigo followed the natural pipeline of the Disney actor turned singer, but although stars in the past managed to juggle both, for the HSMTMTS actress the kind of pop stardom she achieved was a full-time job. Her first single “Driver’s License,” released in January, 2021, reached astronomical heights – a type of virality that only a select group of songs have achieved before. And, while the success was partly due to the fan base she grew from her performance as Nini on the Disney Plus show, the overall quality of the song put her on the map as the next big pop star. , which earned her a Grammy in the process.

Although Olivia Rodrigo will not feature much in the fourth and final season HSMTMSthere’s a chance she could pop in to say goodbye at the end considering Tim Federle’s cryptic comments on the fate of Nini’s character in the show.

Federle said EW in September 2022 that Nini is “definitely gone yet,” but hopefully not “gone forever.” In the early days of production for season four, the showrunner confirmed that there were “no formal discussions” about the singer-actress’ return to the show at that point, although the “door is always open.” He has not commented on the matter since.
