AEW Forbidden Door 2023 live stream, start time, card and how to watch online
Here we go, it’s almost time for the AEW Forbidden Door 2023 live stream. After two more shows, that is, as Rampage and Collision come before it. One of the matches on the card was already set, but we’re not including it in the card, to spoil people.
AEW Forbidden Door start time

Preview: 7 pm ET / 4 pm PT / 12 am BST / 9 am AEST

AEW and NJPW are ready to repeat history with a super card full of exciting matches. Currently, 11 matches have been announced (including the aforementioned match we dare not name), with a major title match in one of the main events: Kenny Omega defending the IWGP United States Championship against Will Ospreay. That’s rumored to be going on last, which makes sense since The American Dragon Bryan Danielson vs. Kazuchika Okada dream match has no gold on the line.
Ospreay vs. Omega could also end up on the card due to the possibility that it could be used to showcase former NJPW star Kota Ibushi in AEW. Omega’s former manager Don Callis promised to give Ospreay some protection at Forbidden Door on Dynamite, so wouldn’t it make sense for a surprise ally to help Omega?
Elsewhere on the card, Sanada should steamroll over Jungle Boy in his defense of the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, while Jack Perry decided to face his new best friend Hook, who is ready to corner him. Toni Storm is also likely to retain her title against Willow Nightingale.
Expect chaos and a heel victory in the Blackpool Combat Club (with Konosuke Takeshita and Shota Umino) vs. The Elite (with Eddie Kingston and Tomohiro Ishii) as this feud likely won’t end until the Blood & Guts match. Plus, the elite Kenny Omega isn’t even in that match; victory cannot yet come.
Finally, the toughest match to call is Orange Cassidy defending his AEW International Championship against Zack Saber Jr., Katsuyori Shibata and Daniel Garcia. Saber Jr. could win easily to defend it at All In, since Tony Khan would want him on the UK card. But ZSJ doesn’t need this belt to be on that card, because the match between him and Danielson that should have been at the Forbidden Door last year is too easy to fix.
Oh, and yes, this is the first time The Elite and CM Punk will share a building since their Brawl Out fight last fall. Should be interesting.
