Apex Legends patch notes for Season 19 Ignite update | Gaming | Entertainment


Apex Legends developer Respawn has released a brand new update in the lead up to Season 19. The new Apex Legends season adds a new character named Conduit, whose ultimate ability sees her deploy a shield jamming device that slows down and damages enemies. The new update also introduces the Season 19 Battle Pass, which contains tons of fresh rewards for players to unlock. Needless to say, the Season 19 update makes a variety of balance changes, bug fixes and gameplay changes, which you can see by checking out the patch notes below.

• Transition will be rolled out in phases across existing platforms

• Mass sprays can now be used while sky diving


• Crafting rotation

– RE-45 and 30-30 Repeater leave the crafter and they are back on the floor

– R-301 and Volta into the crafter

– Removed Boost Loader from craft rotation

– Digital Threat Optics removed from crafting rotation

– Added Hammerpoint rounds to the crafting rotation

• Care Package Weapon Rotation

– L-Star EMG returns to the floor

– Removed Shuffle Rounds

– Reduction of the projection size

– Improved recoil pattern

– Reduced randomness in the initial part of the recoil pattern

– Damage increased to 17 (16)

– Improved the barrel attachment to match other weapons

– Wingman enters the care package

– New jump – Skullpiercer Elite: ignore bullet head damage reduction

– Added hop-up Booster Loader

– Increased base damage to 50 (was 45)

– Increase the projection size

– 110 ammo

Care Packages

• Care Packages will always have one weapon at each stage of the game

Gold Weapon Rotation

• Havoc, RE-45, CAR SMG, L-Star, Longbow DMR


• Booster Loader: removed from floor loot

• Turbocharger: Removed 1 damage reduction when equipped


30-30 Repeater

• Increase in the spread of hip fires

Bow Boke

• Faster initial draw speed

• Select Fire button now toggles Shatter caps

• Shatter Caps tighter blast pattern

Charge Rifle

• Improved bullet drop ballistics

• Increased projection size


• Damage reduced to 21 (was 22)

DMR longbow

• Increased projection size


• Increased Amped Shot projection



• Double Time: duration reduced to 2s (3s)

• Smoke Launcher: smoke lifetime reduced to 18s (23s)

• Rolling Thunder: stun reduced to 6s (8s)


• Piercing spikes

– Heart no longer blocks projectiles, allowing bullets to pass through

– Maximum world count reduced to 2 (was 3)

– Throw range decreased by about 50%

• Dark Veil

– Cooldown now starts when the wall comes down

– Lifespan reduced to 25s (30s)

Passive Updates

• Pathfinder Insider Info: it is now possible to scan Care Packages after allies have already scanned them

• Wraith’s Voices from the Void: requires less watch time to start (feels more reliable/consistent)

Final updates

• Newcastle Castle Wall

– Reduced recovery time on landing

– Maximum jump height increased

• Forged Shadows of the Revenant: reduced time extension period for helpers to 3 (was 30s)

• Vantage Sniper Mark: increased bullet count to 6 (was 5)



• Several bugs and rat spots were addressed

• Known works were addressed to go under the map

Kings Canyon

• Multiple rat spots were addressed

• Geoholes fixed in the earth between Residue and Caustic Treatment

Storm Point

• Added two Mixtape maps based on new POIs (ZEUS Station and Wattson’s Pylon)

• Several bugs and rat spots were addressed


• Players now respawn with the shields and weapons they had when they were eliminated

– Body armor and helmet level are preserved

– The Downhill shield is reset to white

– Backpacks are removed

– The inventory will include some ammo for their weapons, two syringes, and two shield cells

– Weapons are retained, unless that weapon is a care package weapon, and all weapon attachments are removed, including weapons with equipment

• Replica, Ring Console, and Survey Beacon spawn rates have been leveled again across all POIs

Bug fixes

• Closed exploit that allowed players to survive ring damage longer than intended using the Stage Runner on Olympus

• Death Boxes can no longer drop into unreachable areas – or lava

• Heat Shields can no longer stick to Tridents

• Wing Heat no longer provides protection above them on high ground

• Holster’s weapon UI no longer appears when healing outside the ring

• Knockdown Shield FX no longer stays on while watching

• Longbow’s Dawn’s Awakening skin no longer has a visible scoped barrel

• Nemesis’s Demon’s Whisper skin no longer blocks the player’s view

• Restored temporary badge icon on the Ranked game summary screen

• Rarity display now updates after equipping from the shop or opening a pack

• Occasionally resolved “[UI] Array index 100000000 is out of range (array size 45)” error launching game

• Revenant now faces the direction he is shooting in third person view

• Skydiving into a remaining reef barge will no longer trigger the player with it

• Squad sorting is now consistent between HUD and Inventory

• Death Box no longer needs to be refreshed to swap lower tier armor after taking damage


• Fixed rare cases where the priority system would kill certain sounds for local players’ armies at the wrong time


• Fixed squads sometimes ghost a bit
