Victoria Coren Mitchell has given birth to her second child.
The 51-year-old, who is married to actor and comedian David Mitchell, previously announced the happy news on X, Twitter.
Taking to the microblogging site, she told her 696,000 followers: “A lot of people are assuming my tweet yesterday was a Halloween costume.
“Not at all; last week I had a baby and nothing fits me at the moment except cloaks. Fortunately, Only Connect is a pre-record. Happy All Saints Day!”
The Only Connect presenter was inundated with messages as social media users congratulated the couple.
One person wrote: “Congratulations Victoria.”
Another said: “Congratulations. I’m just a little disappointed you weren’t six months pregnant on our screens this time.”
“Many congratulations, new baby, how wonderful,” gushed the third.
And the fourth person said: “Congratulations to you and David.”
