None of the Bangladesh players could score huge runs against the ferocious bowling of Pakistan.
Later, skipper Shakib Al Hasan came into bat in the middle and scored 43 runs before Haris Rauf got out. Bangladesh did not fare well with the willow, the game is now in the hands of the bowlers.
Afridi showed an exceptional show and the ball conceded only 23 runs in 9 overs and picked three wickets. Pakistan will not let go easily to get those two points in the points table which will keep their ICC World Cup 2023 campaign alive. The players from Pakistan’s perspective will be skipper Babar Azam and keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan.
Both teams will be looking for a win in today’s final as they face each other after the victories in their previous games. Pakistan still have a chance to qualify for the semi-finals of the ICC World Cup 2023 if they win all their remaining matches.
