Sunny Deol and his younger brother Bobby Deol the guests on the second episode of Koffee With Karan season 8. Host Karan Johar welcomed the star brothers on the show, who asked them questions about the ups and downs of their careers, as well as their relationships with other actors in the film brotherhood.
During the famous burnout round, all the actors were asked to name things they liked or hated about certain stars. Both the brothers politely expressed their views, giving the audience a better insight into their relationship with some members of the film fraternity.

Drink Sunny, who shot to fame with Shah Rukh Khan many years ago, was asked to name one good thing and one bad thing about the Bollywood Badshah. “It’s very hard work,” emphasized Sunny. “What I don’t like about it is making actors (sic) a commodity,” he said with a laugh, to which Karan Johar replied, “Oh God! Okay.”
Sun was kinder towards Salman Khan. “I think he’s a very good person, but he’s turning everyone into a bodybuilder. He wants everyone to be a bodybuilder,” Sunny said with a laugh.
Sunny Deol on Akshay Kumar
For Akshay Kumar, Sunny listed his punctuality as a good quality. “But what I don’t like is that he’s doing too many films,” he said.
Incidentally, Sunny’s latest song Gadar 2 was a hit with Akhay’s film OMG 2 at the box office earlier this year. During their conversation, Karan Johar brought up the conflict and asked Sunny Deol if he had spoken to Akshay Kumar about this. Sunny replied that he had indeed asked Akshay not to let it happen if he had the power to prevent it. However, Akshay explained that it is the studio’s decision, and two films can be released simultaneously.
“It’s very emotional if you ask me, dear, because I thought my film was being released, and I hadn’t had any success in years, and I didn’t want anyone else to join me. Well, but you can’t stop anyone. So obviously it hurts you,” Sunny explained.
