Sam Bahadur: Vicky jumps over fire, shares glimpses of visit to Sikh Regiment
An actor Vicky KaushalAhead of the release of his upcoming film ‘Sam Bahadur’, he was given a warm welcome by the 6 Sikh Regiment of the Indian Army during his tour in Delhi.
While doing obstacle training, the actor was seen jumping over fire in dramatic slow motion, the blessing was very hot, but at the same time, it was an enjoyable venture for him.
Taking to Instagram, he posted a short clip of himself in the cantonment and wrote: “Needless to say I received a ‘warm’ welcome from the 6 Sikh Regiment this time during my trip to Delhi for #Sam Bahadur Launch a trailer!”
The actor received training from 7 Sikh Regiment for his 2018 military film ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ which dealt with the 2016 surgical strikes launched by the Indian Army’s special forces in retaliation against Pakistan Army terrorists who attacked the based at Uri in Kashmir. .
Recalling his training session during the shooting of ‘Uri’, he said: “In 2018, before we started filming URI, I was trained by the 7 Sikh Regiment. Unki ki yaadein taaza ho gayi obstacle training drills (Her obstacle training drills have refreshed my memory)… it always feels great to get a pat on the back from the real heroes”.

Now portraying the great Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in the biopic, the Indian Armed Forces ‘Sardar Udham’ alum has received a very positive response for his portrayal of the true story in the recently released trailer of the film.
During the trailer launch of the film in Punjab, the actor was welcomed by the 6th battalion of the Actor. Sikh Regiment from whom he sought a blessing.
