Tiger 3 advance booking: Salman Khan’s movie eyes bumper Diwali opening, garners ₹12.43 crore
Booking Tiger 3: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is all set to bring another installment of his Tiger series to the cinema theaters this Diwali. Before its release on Sunday, the film has earned ₹12.43 crore from bookings, according to Sacnilk.com data released on Friday.
The Katrina Kaif and Emran Hashmi starrer is now running in double figures and has a good chance of becoming the biggest Diwali opener in India.
The film will be released in various formats including 2D, IMAX 2D, and 4DX. It has seen a great response from the audience, indicating a large turnout on the opening day.
Tiger 3 booking numbers
According to Sacnilk.com, about 4,62,327 tickets have already been sold for the first day of the release of Tiger 3. Out of the total tickets sold for the first day shows, 4,35,913 tickets are for the Hindi 2D version, and 14,158 for the Telugu 2D. Besides, about 1957 people bought tickets for its Tamil version. Not only that, 8203 tickets have already been booked for its first-day IMAX version.
According to media reports, the film cannot be released in Oman and Kuwait. Katrina Kaif’s towel scene in the film could be the reason for the ban on films.
The film is directed by Maneesh Sharma. His previous winning films are Banda Baja Baraat. Tiger 3 is the fifth film in YRF’s Spy Universe, earlier Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, and Pathaan.
