Gordon Ramsay reveals surprise birth of sixth baby with wife Tana as he shares sweet name | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV
Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana have welcomed their sixth child, a cute little boy.
Announcing the news via Instagram, the chef shared a photo of himself and Tana, 49, in the delivery room with their new bundle of joy.
Gordon, 57, hit on the couple’s latest family member, calling his newborn son “a wonderful birthday present”.
He wrote: “What a great welcome birthday present Jesse James Ramsay, 7lbs 10oz whopper!!
“One more love affair for the Ramsay brigade! 3 boys, 3 girls…. Done.”
Many celebrities and fans took to the comments section of Gordon’s post to congratulate him and Tana.
“Congratulations my friends!” Frank Lampard said.
TV chef James Martin said: “Congratulations x.”
A fan commented: “Tana looks amazing! Congratulations you two and welcome to the world Jesse James!”
Another said: “Great, Chef! Congratulations to all your family!”
Gordon and Tana are already parents to five older children – Megan, Matilda (known as Tilly), twins Jack and Holly, and Oscar James.
The couple tied the knot in 1996 before welcoming their first child Megan, who graduated from Oxford in June 2019 with a degree in psychology.
The Ramsays’ new arrival comes more than four years after they announced the birth of baby number five, Oscar.
Oscar was born 18 years after the couple’s fourth child Tilly, with little Jesse sharing a 25-year gap with his older sister Megan.
Gordon previously said Tana was keen to expand their brood, just months before Jesse’s arrival.
In an interview in September, Gordon joked to Dish podcast hosts Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett: “I have a little secret… Tana needs another one.”
However, the dad-of-six also shared his concern that other parents in the playground might mistake him for his child’s grandfather.
