BBC Saturday Kitchen’s Matt Tebbutt worries he’s ‘out of a job’ after Michael Ball tease | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV
Michael Ball has left host Matt Tebbutt in fear of being fired after he joked “this is my show now,” while appearing on Saturday Kitchen this morning.
The 61-year-old had the host and other guests in stitches when he made the funny remark while cooking together.
Matt, 49, asked the singer: “Do you still want to hang?”
Michael replied: “That’s the point I was going to make, do we want it back?”
The West End star then looked straight into the camera and joked: “What’s my show on now.”
The host and the other guests continued to laugh hysterically at Michael’s quip.
Matt tried to stop himself from laughing as he read the autocue for the next item on the BBC programme.
Fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to praise Michael’s appearance and provide them with some much-needed humor.
User X wrote: “#SaturdayKitchen Cracking program today, well done #LoveAGoodLaugh.”

The actor was on the show to promote his brand new memoir Different Aspects, which details his life on stage and screen.
Michael took to his Instagram on October 12 to inform his 93.2 thousand followers that the book had officially been released.
He gushed: “It was a pleasure to walk down memory lane to write my first ever memoir and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.”
Michael starred in some of the biggest theater productions, including Les Miserables, The Phantom of the Opera and The Rocky Horror Show.
He has also had a very varied career in television, music and presenting.
