Denise Van Outen broke her silence after her ex-wife, Eddie Boxshall’s brutal slip-up during her recent break-up.
The 49-year-old recently confirmed that she had split with her boyfriend Jimmy Barba, who she had been with for a year and a half.
Although the TV presenter claimed they are still great friends, it seems the same cannot be said for his ex-wife Eddie.
In a now-deleted Tweet, Eddie appeared to be slipping with Denise being single again.
As reported by the Daily Mirror, Eddie shared a clip of Queen’s song Another One Bites the Dust, along with the caption: “Next please…”
However, it doesn’t appear this is the first time Eddie has taken a jibe at Denise after sharing an image of himself with his new girlfriend on social media.
In August, he captioned a post for Bank Boliday followed by the hashtags #shhhthereyougo #idontdohating #thankstothenicepeople #happy”.
One person said: “Anyone going to state the obvious?”
As Eddie said back: “Yes, I’m happier than I’ve ever been … I saw well.”
However, it looks like Denise isn’t taking Eddie’s snide digs in stride as the star shared a snap on her Instagram of a gig she was performing.
Putting her relationship worries aside, the 49-year-old was all smiles on Saturday as she wore a sequin top, leather trousers and platform boots.
Along with a series of images, she captioned the post: “DJ set @sofitellondon5 private function Terminal 5 (Heathrow). Thank you @eventsincltd @pioneerdjglobal @nosiykitchenhq.”
It wasn’t long before fans took to the comments section to praise Denise for how “amazing” she looked.
Denise and Eddie were together for seven years before calling it a day on their relationship last year.
At the time, it was reported that Eddie admitted to sending up to 20 sex messages to other women without Denise’s knowledge.
Speaking about his break-up, the West End star told OK! Magazine there was no way to save their relationship.
She said: “I have too much self-esteem and I can’t live like that. I felt, in a few minutes, that he destroyed it. I couldn’t imagine it ever feeling the same.”
