Uttar Dakshin is a 1987 Hindi film. The story is written by Subhash Ghai. Rajinikanth, Jackie Shroff, Madhuri Dixit, and Bharti are in the lead roles. Laxmikant Pyarelal composed the music, and Anand Bakshi wrote the lyrics for the film.
The film follows the story of Raja who discovers that his father is alive, and befriends Shankran, his step-brother, to steal his property. However, Shankran’s mother soon discovers the truth. The film has borrowed the story from Yash Chopra’s classic film `Trishul`.
