Tiger 3 Box Office Collection Day 7: Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 has received a mixed reaction at the Box Office since its release. The Bollywood film started its opening day with a bang ₹44.5 crore, which showed its huge appeal, especially in the Hindi territories where it collected ₹43 crores. Telugu and Tamil versions have been added ₹1.3 crore and ₹20 lakh, respectively, to the first day’s score.
The film saw a boom on the first Monday, and the collections were soaring ₹59.25 crore, a significant increase of 33.15% from Day 1, with Hindi collections peaking at ₹58 crores.
However, as the days of the week were laid down, a drop was seen. A collection of recorded ₹44.3 crore, which is a decrease of 25.23% from the previous day. The downward trend continued into the first Wednesday, with a steeper decline of 52.37%, bringing ₹21.1 crore.
By the first Thursday, the Yash Raj Films production managed to pull in ₹18.5 crore, a slight decline of 12.32% on Wednesday’s figures, suggesting a stabilizing pattern in viewership. The overall Week 1 collection stood strong at ₹187.65 crore, which shows the staying power of the film.
The second weekend started with the first meeting on Friday ₹13.25 crore, down 28.38% compared to Thursday, which is typical for a weekday. Early estimates for the first Saturday show a collection of ₹17 crore, indicating a boom by the weekend.
Is Tiger 3 a box office disaster?
Salman Khan Tiger 3 done ₹217.90 crore. While that seems like a reasonable number, YRF has put in a much bigger amount to make the final installment of the Tiger franchise. The earlier film, Tiger Zinda Haithat there was a budget of ₹150 crore excluding Salman’s fees and earned ₹339.16 crore in India, according to an earlier report by Bollywood Hungama.
The same report says yes Tiger 3 there is a budget of ₹300 crores. With that number, Tiger 3 has not yet broken even after one week. Although there is still time for the film to recover, it is unlikely that the film will go much further.
