From BTS to NewJeans, full K-pop winners list at Billboard Music Awards 2023


The 2023 Billboard Music Awards are currently underway. Mariah Carey, Peso Pluma, Karol G, Morgan Wallen, Stray Kids, David Guetta, Tate McRae, NewJeans, and more artists are part of the evening’s lineup. K-pop artists dominated the night, receiving most of the titles. BLACKPINK they won their first Billboard Music Award for their successful BORN Pink tour. Members of the K-pop girl group – Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa – marked this feat, beating BTS’s Suga D-Day and Twice’s world tour for best K-pop touring artist. With this win, the singers became the first K-pop group and the second girl group in history to win this prestigious award.

BTS’s Jimin also made his presence felt, receiving nominations in four categories, making him the most nominated K-pop act. Categories include Top Billboard Global K-Pop Artist and Top K-Pop Album. BTS Jungkook, who has also had a great year, won the Top Global K-Pop song for Seven by Latto.
